August 20, 2020: 100 Block of Vine Avenue

TRAFFIC ALERT (8/20/20, 1:00 PM): A tree is down and is blocking Vine Ave. between Egandale and Linden, and has compromised a power line. ComEd has been notified. Work to remove the tree cannot begin until ComEd has evaluated and secured the area. Due to the compromised power line, the 100-block of Vine Ave. is impassable at this time.
The City is working with the Park District of Highland Park to coordinate a detour for two-way traffic. If travel is necessary, please drive with caution and follow directions from the Police Department or Park District staff.
