City Expands Service for the Highland Park Connector Bus
September 15, 2023 -- As of Monday, October 2, 2023, the HP Connector Bus is expanding operational hours from 2 days per week to 3 days. The bus will run on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The Connector Bus, which is wheelchair accessible, is a free service and provides rides for the City’s seniors and people with disabilities. Connector Bus Operators also offer complimentary assistance to residents with mobile-assistive devices and packages. The bus operates on a fixed route within Highland Park and includes stops at the Senior Center, HP Hospital, Metra, Library, pharmacies, and grocery stores. Additional stops may be made along its fixed route upon request, as long as the stop location is safe.
