How can I respond?
The census is now available online at 2020census.gov.
For the first time, you can choose to complete the census online, by phone, or by mail. Find out more about each of these methods below:
Please note that if you are responding online, you must complete the census in one sitting, as you don't have the ability to save your progress. Preview the questions the census asks here.
This year, the Census will be available in 13 languages: Spanish, Chinese (online in Simplified Chinese and by phone in Mandarin and Cantonese), Vietnamese, Korean, Russian, Arabic, Tagalog, Polish, French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Japanese. Over 99% of all U.S. households will be able to respond to the census in their preferred language. Read more here.
