Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Winter festivities begin in downtown Highland Park with the Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 3-5 PM rain or shine. The event will only be canceled if there is severe weather. The day’s events will feature musical performances with a special appearance by Santa.
Enjoy a family-friendly scavenger hunt through downtown Highland Park with prizes at the end. In addition, don’t miss free, live performances of The Nutcracker in the store window of Uncle Dan’s at the corner of Central Avenue and Second Street. The afternoon events will conclude with Mayor Rotering flipping the switch to turn on the holiday lights in Port Clinton Square. Please see the schedule of events below.
