Cleared: 700 Block of Green Bay Rd Police Activity

November 9, 2022 (7:03 PM) -- Police personnel have taken the suspected offender into custody, and are clearing the perimeter at this time. An investigation is still ongoing. The City of Highland Park appreciates the partnership of the Northbrook and Deerfield police departments in assisting with this incident response.

November 9, 2022 (5:27 PM) -- There is police activity on the 700 block of Green Bay Rd. due to a report of attempted burglary in progress. Police and area law enforcement agencies are creating a secure perimeter in the area. Residents are advised to remain in their homes. Please avoid the area if possible.
