Highland Park Police Conducting Death Investigation
There is no known threat to public safety
September 7, 2022 – On the morning of September 7, 2022, City of Highland Park emergency personnel responded to a wellness check of a unit within 1850 Green Bay Road. Upon arrival, responding Highland Park police officers observed apparent blood under the door and forced entry into the unit. Officers discovered two deceased individuals upon entry. A person of interest was in the unit and has been taken into custody. There is no known threat to public safety.
As there is no threat to public safety and this is an active investigation, the City is not able to comment further on the investigation at this time.
The City will work with the on-site property manager to provide support to tenants within the building.
