Highland Park Police Department Investigating Battery Incident
August 4, 2021 – On Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11:44 p.m., Highland Park Police officers responded to the 3500 block of Western Avenue for a reported fight. Initial investigation indicates that two neighbors were involved in a dispute that resulted in non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation and will be reviewed with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office upon its conclusion. More information will be shared if the investigation and review results in criminal charges.
