December 27, 2019 -- Installation of the Ravinia Streetlights is nearing completion.
The new Ravinia District pedestrian lights are now operational. The lighting portion of the project is expected to be completed January 10, 2020 but there is more work to be done. Over the next few weeks you may see:
• New streetlights and old streetlights operating simultaneously
• Removal of old streetlight lights
• Installation of new intersection lights
• Installation of a permanent light controller
In the spring you’ll see:
• Installation of new street furniture including benches, bike racks, and trash receptacles
• Full restoration of sod and grass
