The City aims to stimulate increased private investment and new business by further enhancing the District and promoting its unique charm. A multi-year redevelopment plan within the District continues to move forward. The first phase, completed in 2014, included wayfinding signage and other streetscape improvements. The next phase is anticipated to begin in early April with a design work for lighting, street furniture, public art, landscaping signage, and other amenities. Public input will be included in the process.

Business and Development News
Ravinia District will welcome Viaggio’s restaurant, which will open in April. Also, the City is working with Klairmont Investments, LLC to finalize the proposed development for a four-story mixed use building with 30 rental units on Roger Williams Avenue, which will further increase residential density in the area and increase ground floor commercial vibrancy.
