2018 Annual Highland Park Neighborhood Meeting  Schedule Now Available

March 7, 2018 -- The 2018 Annual Neighborhood Meeting Series begins on April 18, 2018. The City of Highland Park, Lake County, North Shore School District 112, Township High School District 113, Park District of Highland Park, Highland Park Public Library, Moraine Township, West Deerfield Township and the North Shore Water Reclamation District will host a series of neighborhood meetings to solicit feedback and answer questions about community priorities and opportunities to enhance quality of life in Highland Park. Neighborhood Meetings are an opportunity for residents to speak with elected officials, government staff and other community leaders in a welcoming, friendly, and informal environment.

“We prioritize and appreciate public feedback and regular conversations with residents,” stated Mayor Nancy Rotering. “While each entity has its own individual mission, budget, and operational goals, by working together, we more efficiently and effectively build a strong future for our community.”

The 2018 Neighborhood Meeting schedule and locations are below:

Wednesday, April 18             7 PM                West Ridge Center, 636 Ridge Rd.
Thursday, April 26                   7 PM                Braeside School, 150 Pierce Rd.
Monday, May 7                          7 PM                Public Services Building, 1150 Half Day Rd.
Wednesday, May 23               7 PM                Highland Park High School, 433 Vine Ave.
Monday, June 4                          3 PM                Highland Park Senior Center, 54 Laurel Ave.
Thursday, June 21                     7 PM                Highland Park Library, 494 Laurel Ave.

A total of six meetings will be held at various locations throughout the community. Residents may attend any meeting. Reservations are not required. Meetings are open to the public. For more information, please contact the City Manager’s Office at 847.926.1000.
