With the onset of warmer weather and freeze-thaw cycles occurring this time of year, City streets will have more pockets of distressed areas, or potholes. The City continues to perform pothole maintenance on a daily basis. To help the Public Works Department keep our City streets in drivable condition, please report potholes via the City’s Service Request Tracker at www.cityhpil.com/service or through the City Pothole Hotline at 847.926.1178. See something, say something!
Additionally, the City will begin City wide street sweeping in late March, with crack sealing, pavement rejuvenation, and minor asphalt and concrete replacement expected in April and May.
