Background checks are done on applicants. If an applicant has a criminal record, they may not be able to participate in the program.
Can residents with a disability participate?
This is an inclusive program that is open to all residents. Residents with disabilities are asked to call ahead to discuss varying program options with staff.
Is attendance at all classes mandatory?
This is a voluntary program and as such, attendance is not mandatory. However, if participants are unable to attend a class, they are asked to notify staff in advance. If a participant will miss more than 2 classes, they are asked to reconsider applying as to not take a spot away from another interested resident.
