The Highland Park Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) educates the community about disaster preparedness for hazards and situations that may impact our City.  Specific skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, disaster medical operations, and traffic control are provided to members online, in the classroom and during live exercises.  Using this training, members can assist others in their neighborhoods or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. Learn more about CERT.
