Administration

The Administrative Division provides day-to-day administration of personnel activities and regulations of the Highland Park Fire Department, including:

  • Budget preparation and controldivisions admin pic 1
  • Purchasing
  • Personnel management
  • Grant management
  • Record keeping
  • Facilities management, resources, and logistics
  • Internal affairs
  • Information requests

The Administrative Division is made up of the Chief, Deputy Chief, and Executive Assistant.  This staff is assigned to an 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday.  The Chief, or their designee, routinely attends meetings and/or events outside regular business hours.  The Chief, or Deputy Chief, also responds to critical emergency incidents outside their regular work schedule.
