INVITATION FOR BIDS
The City of Highland Park will receive sealed bids at the Public Works Dept., 1150 Half Day Rd, Highland Park, Illinois 60035 for the
2019 Tree Planting Program
until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 24, 2019
and at that time will be publicly opened, read aloud, and placed on file for public inspection. Late bids will not be considered under any circumstances. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Copies of the Bid Package may be obtained at no cost from the Public Works Department Administration office.
This is a joint bid with separate contracts for the City of Highland Park and the Park District of Highland Park. The proposed work will consist of planting approximately 800 trees of diameters varying between 2 and 5 inches at various locations within the City of Highland Park and the Park District of Highland Park.
The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish certificates of insurance as required by the Contract.
All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security deposit in the form of a bid bond, cashier’s or certified check, in an amount equal to at least three (3%) percent of the Total Estimated Price named in the Schedule of Prices.
It is the responsibility of the bidder to inspect the entire bid package and seek clarification of any item which may not be clear to them.
