The Taste of Highland Park will kick off on Friday, August 22, at 6:00 pm with sips nibbles & noshes from 16 of Highland Park’s extraordinary restaurants & food establishments offering their tempting and delicious fare prepared to perfection. From sweet to salty, mild to spicy, the hottest of the hot to the coolest of the cool, there will something for everyone. Wine, beer and specialty drinks will add to the menu.

Friday evening will be highlighted by the fun & fabulous Blooze Brothers, performing live on the Taste Entertainment Stage from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. On Saturday and Sunday the Taste of Highland Park will re-open at 10:00 am in tandem with the Port Clinton Art Festival, and on Saturday, extends into the night with exciting performances on the Taste Entertainment Stage from 5:30 to 7:00 pm featuring the talented vocalist & leading impressionist, Ron Hawking & Orchestra, celebrating the greatest male vocalists of the 50’s thru the 70’s, including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Lou Rawls, Jimmy Durante, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, & Frankie Valli. Ron Hawking is the creator, producer, and star of "His Way" - A Tribute to the Man and His Music, which opened at Chicago's Mercury Theater, and has performed at Carnegie Hall, opening for the Philly Pops Orchestra, Carol Channing, the Temptations, and more. The unique & electrifying sounds of World Class Noise follow from 8:30 to 10:00 pm., with a play list that includes soul, funk, classic, and contemporary music by greats like Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Sting, and Steely Dan. World Class Noise has opened for many bands including the Doobie Brothers & David Crosby.
