The 27th Port Clinton Art Festival runs in conjunction with the Taste of Highland Park on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Heralded by Sundance Magazine as one of the best art festivals in the United States, this juried show is a must-see for art lovers. Throughout this free two-day festival, hundreds of thousands fill the Port Clinton Square area to purchase work from 260 world-class artists.
Family-friendly fun abounds amongst shops, flowers, trees, and fountains with free hands on art projects for children. Fields Volvo of Highland Park will not only be bringing their brand new Volvo S60 2011, they will also supply a Paint-a-Car for the kids Art Tent. Additionally, kids can go on a scavenger hunt through the festival looking for different types of art listed on a bingo card and then receive an “Official Art Explorer” sticker. The festival also hosts a Youth Art Division for local youth artists ages 18 and under. The Port Clinton Art Festival offers these aspiring artists the opportunity to participate in a real art festival and showcase their work to the masses.
