In addition to the host of family-friendly holiday activities, there are opportunities to give back to those in need of assistance this holiday season:

Zac's Zoo: Zac Cohen, a Highland Park resident who recently passed away at the young age of 20, started a charity called Zac's Zoo when he was only seven years old. His family is carrying on his legacy of collecting new stuffed animals that first responders can give to children who are in need of comfort during crisis situations. Bring a new stuffed animal to Port Clinton Square between 3 and 5 PM to support the cause.

Moraine Township Food Pantry: The City will be accepting donations for the Moraine Township Food Pantry, including food and toiletry donations for those who are in need of sustenance assistance. Please bring non-expired, sealed items. Most needed items include cereal, rice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cleaning supplies.
