The Streets Division maintains and repairs 160 center line miles of streets, which equates to over 400 lane miles. Additionally, the Streets Division manages drainage systems, sidewalks, and bridges. The responsibilities of this Division include street sweeping, crack sealing, pothole repair, and asphalt and concrete replacement.

Pothole Hotline

The City has instituted a pothole hotline which will allow residents to report potholes to the Public Works Department. The hotline telephone number, which may be contacted 24 hours a day, is 847-926-1178. Residents are asked to leave their name, address, phone number and the specific location of the pothole. Questions concerning the pothole hotline may be directed to the Public Works Department at 847-432-0807 during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or via email. Potholes may also be reported online.
