Port Clinton Art Festival & Taste of Highland Park
For over 30 years, the Port Clinton Art Festival has been recognized as one of the most successful juried art festivals in the country, attracting more than 250,000 art enthusiasts annually. This distinguished outdoor festival offers fine art from more than 260 of the world's most celebrated artists. Exceptional artwork of all mediums is available at the festival, including ceramics, drawings, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, paintings, photography and wood. In addition to the juried artists exhibiting, the festival hosts a youth art division, which offers young artists, ages 18 and under, an opportunity to participate in one of the finest art festivals in the country. Throughout the weekend festival-goers will enjoy art activities for kids, including an art scavenger hunt and spin art, interactive art demos, performance speed painting, and, of course, original artwork offered by master artists from around the world.  The 2014 Port Clinton Art Festival will take place Saturday, August 23 to Sunday, August 24 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Kicking off the festival weekend is the 8th Annual Taste of Highland Park, which opens the Friday in conjunction with the festival and runs throughout the weekend. The Taste features food from many of Highland Park's notable restaurants. In addition to the tasty fare, festival-goers will enjoy a variety of live musical performances from acclaimed bands and performers throughout the weekend.
