The Fleet and Facilities Section provides the Public Works Department with safe and dependable vehicles, equipment and service facilities. The goal is to work in partnership with employees to provide high quality products and services in a cost-effective manner.

Fleet Section
Services provided by the Fleet Section include maintenance and repair of City vehicles and equipment such as sedans, light- and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, tractors and miscellaneous equipment that use fuel, have wheels and tires and/or are operated or used on public streets.

The Fleet Division provides asset management and budgeting for replacement vehicles and equipment, specification development and fuel and energy management. Specifications for replacement and additional vehicles and equipment are developed with the other public works divisions to provide the most effective tools for their operations.

Facilities Section
The Facilities Section is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the following City facilities: City Hall, Public Services Building, Police Headquarters, train stations, fire stations, Senior Center, Youth Center, Firearms Training Center and other City-owned properties. This division is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City’s indoor / outdoor parking facilities.
