Support Services
Support Services provides clerical and data management support for the department, as well as direct management of the Transit Division and the City's Recycling Center.  Support Services facilitates the permit approval process for oversized and/or overweight vehicles traveling on City roadways.

City Transit
The City's Transit section operates a fixed-route scheduled bus service, Ravinia Festival Park-N-Ride and a Senior Shuttle Bus Program.  The ridership for the Pace Fixed Route Schedule typically exceeds 150,000 riders per year.  The Ravinia Festival Park-N-Ride provides an additional shuttle bus service from June to September, safely and efficiently transporting over 300,000 passengers a year, from remote parking areas to Ravinia Festival concerts.  Additionally, the Senior Connector Free Bus provides service to over 6,800 riders on an annual basis.
