Public Notice of Regular Meeting
In accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Highland Park, the next regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Highland Park is scheduled to be held at the hour of 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Avenue, Highland Park, Illinois, during which meeting it is anticipated that there will be a discussion of the following items:

        Nature of Appeal: Petitioner requests by authority of Section 150.1204(A)(1) and 150.1204(A)(5), a variation of provisions of Section 150.703 and 150.707(D) as required under the R5 zoning district, Addition to Existing Single Family Structure: to encroach 2’7.5” into the combined side yard of 24.97’ on the south side of the property for a maximum distance of 30’ to expand the existing home; and to construct a new 3 Car Garage with Storage:  to encroach 5’6” into the minimum side yard of 9’ on the south side of the property for a maximum distance of 16’6” and to encroach 10.19’ into the combined side yard of 24.97’ on the south side of the property for a maximum distance of 16’6” to locate an accessory structure in the side yard and to exceed the maximum rear yard coverage of 30% by 49.8% for a total rear yard  coverage of 79.8%.
