WATER BILLING Updated September 26, 2007

The City of Highland Park provides water service to its residents and businesses, managing more than 10,000 water accounts.

The Public Works Department reads the water meters and enters the readings into a hand-held system that imports the readings into the finance billing system.

Water bills are generated on a quarterly basis from actual readings. However, during winter months, bills are based upon estimated readings. Estimates are calculated based on a customer’s prior history.

There are several ways a resident can pay their water bill. Click below for information:

  • Automatic payment – ACH plan

Have your payments withdrawn automatically from your bank account.
