| Middle School Parent Network Seminars
A parent network is a great resource for helping families keep
in touch about common concerns: safety, health, discipline and other
issues that come with our children's burgeoning independence. The
primary focus of parent network is to support parents in developing
proactive strategies for guiding their children through the challenges
of adolescence.
For the 2007 school year, the Middle School Parent
Network Advisory is in the process of planning the following programs:
-
January 2007
"A Crash Course for Parents on Teens and Technology"
Tuesday, January 23, 2007 - 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Elm Place Middle School
-
April 2007
For parents of eighth graders
"Welcome to High School: What to Expect as Our Children Progress
from Middle School to High School"
