Early Voting Location and Hours
North Shore Health Center
March 16 to April 2, Available to all eligible, registered voters who need not give a reason to vote prior to Election Day.  A valid government-issued ID containing the voter’s photograph, name, and address is required.

April 7 Consolidated Election Voting
On Tuesday, April 7, all polling places will open at 6:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m.  Information regarding where to vote for National, State, County, Municipal, Park District, School Board, and Township Offices can be found on voter identification cards.  Individual polling locations are determined by the precinct number that is listed on the red, white, and blue Certificate of Voter Registration card.  Polling places locations can be found online at www.lakecountyil.gov/countyclerk. - Quick Links -Where Do I Vote?

Voter Registration
The last day to register to vote or accept any changes of address for the April 7 Consolidated Election is Tuesday, March 10. Voter registration will reopen Thursday, April 9, 2009.

Special Registration Dates
Voter registration will be conducted by the League of Women Voters at the Highland Park Library, 494 Laurel Avenue in the front lobby on Sunday, March 1 from 1-3 pm; Thursday, March 5 from 7-9 pm; and Sunday, March 8 from 1-3 pm.

Grace Period Voter Registration
Grace period registration begins March 11 and ends March 24, 2009 in person at the County Clerk’s office only during normal business hours. 

Absentee Voting
Absentee voting is available to qualified voters meeting certain conditions and offers three enrollment options – Disabled Voter, Student, and Snowbird Programs – which will automatically ensure you receive an absentee ballot at the address you prefer.  Visit the Lake County Clerk’s website to request an absentee ballot or to enroll in one of the convenient absentee programs.  Log onto www.lakecountyil.gov/countyclerk and follow the Quick Links to Request an Absentee Ballot .  Ballot requests may also be called in to the Lake County Clerk Absentee Department at (847) 377-2406, faxed to (847) 984-5821 or mailed to 18 North County Street, Waukegan, IL 60085.

Polling Place Information
