In order to obtain the required vehicle stickers, landscaping companies must provide the following information:
- Completed application: first-time application or renewal application

Proof of automobile, worker’s compensation, and general liability insurance in the form of a certificate ( example)

Landscapers employing three or fewer employees may opt to waive worker’s compensation insurance by completing this form

First-time applicants must also submit a vehicle photograph that includes a depiction of the company’s logo
Additionally, landscapers must be aware of pertinent City regulations, including the following:
- Chapter 102 of the Highland Park Code: Licensing of Lawn Care Professionals
- Section 95.001 of the Highland Park Code: Use of Leaf Blowers and Public Nuisances
- Chapter 100 of the Highland Park Code: Smoking Regulations
- Vehicle parking instructions

The lawn care professional licensing fee for 2008 is $100 regardless of the number of vehicles that are in a company’s operating fleet. Completed applications can be faxed to Chuck Meyer, Administrative Intern, at (847) 432-1385, or mailed or delivered in person to:
